I had never had a dog before and spent time trying to figure out the type of dog that would fit my need and after doing lots of research on dogs and ethical breeders, I was pleased to find Cavalier Kingdom San Diego!
YES, ethical breeders exist, and Jennifer McMains is the definition of an ethical breeder. Here's why: Initially I had sent a lengthy email with what my needs were and a ton of questions. Jenn took the time to respond in great detail. I was in a different state so I did a Face Time meet with Jenn and the puppy I was interested in. I fell in love with the adorable pup and put a deposit down and signed paperwork then flew down to meet my pup in person.
When I visited Jenn’s home to see where the puppies, my puppy was I could see how well they were being taken care of. I appreciated the dog/puppy friendly environment that they had and she took the time educate me on how I should have a puppy area set up in my own home.
She would post videos and pictures online so I could watch my pup grow.
Her puppies are healthy and happy and anybody who visits will see that right away. She does interview ALL applicants and I know the meet was just as important to her as it was to me because she is committed to giving these dogs awesome and stable homes.
Recently, Jenn entrusted me with my dog's mom when it was time to retire her. This was a great honor and Holly loves to be near her son.
