Cavalier Kingdom carefully selects breeds known for their friendly, adaptable natures, making them the perfect fit for any household.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
-
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were our first breed and remain close to our hearts. Although we now produce fewer litters of AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniels due to a decrease in demand, we continue to offer these purebred puppies on request. These Cavalier KC Spaniels are cherished for their gentle nature and suitability as therapy dogs.
-
"Cavaliers are the best of two worlds, combining the gentle attentiveness of a toy breed with the verve and athleticism of a sporting spaniel. ... They get along nicely with children and other dogs. Adaptable Cavaliers do equally well with active owners and homebodies. They can be upbeat athletes or shameless couch potatoes, depending on an owner's lifestyle." (American Kennel Club)
-
"The Cavalier's lustrous, silky coat requires little more than regular brushing and an occasional bath to keep him in beautiful condition. Brushing not only helps to keep the coat shiny and tangle-free but also serves as a full-body massage that the dog enjoys. Grooming sessions enhance the dog-owner bond and provide an opportunity to inspect the dog's whole body for any new or unusual bumps or other issues. The ears should be checked weekly for signs of infection, and the nails should be trimmed at least once a month." (American Kennel Club)
Cavapoo
-
Cavapoos have quickly become one of our most popular breeds. This magical blend of the intelligent and playful Toy Poodle with the sweet and laid-back Cavalier King Charles Spaniel results in a dog that is adored by everyone. Cavapoo puppies are not only incredibly loving but also have a hypoallergenic coat, making them a perfect choice for families with allergies.
-
Cavapoos are sweet, loving, and intelligent dogs that thrive on human connection. Their popularity has soared thanks to the deep bonds they form and the endless affection they share with their owners. Cavapoos are wonderful additions to growing families, as they’re typically child-friendly and love to be in the heart of the action. With plenty of energy to burn, they’re enthusiastic fetch players, making them the perfect companions for kids who are just as eager to throw as they are to retrieve.
-
Cavapoo coat types can vary depending on their parentage, given that they are a mix of two breeds. This combination makes their coat quite unpredictable. Thanks to the Poodle gene, Cavapoos are less prone to shedding, making them a hypoallergenic option for those with allergies or asthma. However, if the Spaniel gene is more dominant, some shedding may occur, though it often decreases as the puppy grows and their coat develops. This shedding tendency usually becomes evident within the first few months of life.
Cavamalt
-
Cavamalts have stolen our hearts, especially after falling in love with our own Maltese, Sugar. This unexpected love affair led us to cross the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the Maltese to create Cavamalt puppies. These small, hypoallergenic dogs are known for their charming personalities and are even smaller than Cavapoos, making them an ideal choice for those in need of a more compact companion.
-
Thanks to the unique blend of traits from its purebred parents, the Cavamalt is an ideal companion for seniors, singles, or families with older children. These dogs don’t ask for much but give back an abundance of love and joy in return. Friendly and good-natured, the Cavamalt requires minimal exercise, making them a low-maintenance and delightful addition to any home.
-
The soft, silky fur of the Cavamalt is one of the breed’s most cherished features. A blend of Cavalier and Maltese, these dogs boast medium to long wavy hair of exceptionally fine quality, giving them a velvety feel. Cavamalts can come in a variety of colors, from the rare pure white of their Maltese parent to beautiful tri-colored or bi-colored coats featuring shades of red, brown, black, or white. Routine brushing keeps their coat lustrous and tangle-free, while occasional baths with sensitive skin dog shampoos help prevent irritation or allergic reactions.
Cavamaltipoo
-
Cavamaltipoos represent the best of all worlds. This three-way mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Maltese, and Toy Poodle produces a robust designer dog with a significantly reduced risk of the genetic health issues often associated with purebred dogs. Our veterinarian highly recommends this mix, especially for those concerned about allergies, as Cavamaltipoo puppies have an even higher likelihood of being hypoallergenic.
-
Cavamaltipoos are delightful and endearing dogs, combining the best traits of their Cavalier, Maltese, and Poodle heritage. These pups are known for their warm, affectionate nature, making them wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. Whether you’re a senior looking for a loving pet or a family with older children, Cavamaltipoos adapt easily and bring a gentle, joyful presence to any home. Their low exercise needs and friendly demeanor make them easy to care for.
-
Cavamaltipoos are relatively low-maintenance but still require regular attention to keep them looking and feeling their best. Their soft, wavy coats benefit from routine brushing to prevent tangles and maintain their silky texture. While they are generally low-shedding, an occasional bath with a gentle, sensitive-skin shampoo helps keep their coats clean and free from irritation.
